✞ Waiata Wednesdays
@ St Michael's, Highbury, Palmerston North

"Ka waiata ahau ki a Ihowā i ahau e ora ana; ka hīmene ki tōku Atua i ahau anō i te ao nei".

"As long as I live, I will sing and praise you, the LORD God".

Psalms 104:33

'Waiata Wednesdays' - our weekly waiata sing-a-long sessions are held every Wednesday from 6.oo pm to 7.oo pm at St Michael's Anglican Church, Ellesmere Crescent, Highbury, Palmerston North.

Waiata Wednesdays is for everyone - Māori, non-Māori, Church members, non-Church members, adults, children... nau mai haere mai!

It's FREE too!

Come along and join us as we sing waiata such as Whakaaria Mai, He Hōnore, Ka Waiata ki a Maria and many others.

One hour of waiata Māori every week!

The lyrics will be projected onto the big screen, so don't worry about not knowing the songs or the words.

If you play acoustic guitar or ukulele, feel free to bring your instrument with you - the guitar chords will be projected onto the big screen too.  G, C and D are all you need to know, whānau!  Well, one or two other chords might come in handy too :-)
